The 7-inch length gives me way more control around my doodle's legs and belly than my old plastic comb did. It's heavy in the hand but the teeth slide through without a single snag.
My golden retriever used to yelp when I hit tangles near her tail, but this 7-inch comb slides through that rough patch without a single snag. I keep it by the door and run it through after our walks, and her coat has fewer broken hairs already.
The metal feels really solid in my hand, not flimsy like other combs I've used, and those 7 inches give me a good grip even when my pup's coat is thick. It slides through without tugging on tangles, which makes the whole grooming session way less of a battle.
